Director of Restaurants
Globetrotter. Adventurer. Hospitality connoisseur. Nick Hassiotis embodies these pillars, bringing them and more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the table as Hotel Clermont’s director of restaurants. A unique blend of global cultures, Hassiotis was born in Saudi Arabia to a Greek father and American mother, who raised him in Jakarta, Indonesia (next door to a neighbor with a pet monkey!) before relocating stateside when Hassiotis was 10 years old. With roots like these, he knew he was destined for money laundering, the restaurant industry or both. Ultimately choosing the righteous path of restaurants, Hassiotis thrives on providing guests with memorable dining experiences within the iconic hotel, from dark and sultry Tiny Lou’s to The Rooftop’s vibrant hangout space.
Now an honorary Atlantan by default, Hassiotis has extensive industry experience within the city. He began his career with PF Changs, working his way from food runner to manager prior to serving at Home restaurant in Buckhead, as well as Craft, FLIP Burger Boutique and Local Three. Continuing his world travels, he later expanded his horizons OTP, opening Kona Grill at Avalon in Alpharetta, Ga. as the bar/trainer manager before serving as the general manager at Foundation Social Eatery in Roswell.
A true workhorse, Hassiotis’s passion for food extends into his personal life as he enjoys reading about cuisine and binge-watching food shows at his Marietta abode, where he currently resides with his wife Torri, daughters Charlie and Calliope and a future Hassiotis due in April 2018.
